Elizabeth Hill & the Valley Folk

Elizabeth has been playing the banjo since she got one from her Grandfather almost 50 years ago. She primarily plays clawhammer style but meanders to other picking techniques. In addition to this band, recently, Elizabeth has been developing and performing sound scapes for folk puppet shows.

Elizabeth Hill & the Valley Folk is an intergenerational band. Blending traditional mountain music with other musical styles. Picking old-time sounds spiced with experimentation and improvisation, the Valley Folk deliver their own brand of Americana. The band plays traditional songs, their own original tunes and song covers.

The Valley Folk include Elizabeth Hill on banjo, Cole Homan on guitar, Wayne Pair on standup bass and Carson Cox on mandolin.
